Hats Off To Sisterhood

In celebration of sisterhood and our national Finer Womanhood Observance month, Omega Rho Zeta hosts an annual event the first Saturday in March. At this event we present awards to community leaders.

Finer Womanhood Community Service Award

The distinguishing characteristic of a “Finer Woman,” is one of superior kindness. She is viewed by many as a leader and sets the example of a true woman of excellence. She is strong, principled and demonstrates great moral character. Through her community service and or career activity, she exemplifies the ideals of scholarship, sisterly love, and endeavors to be a blessing to others.

 

Youth of the Year Community Service Award

This award is in recognition of a youth aged 14-20 who demonstrates extraordinary commitment to her community. This youth takes it upon herself to provide exceptional support to others, is caring and resourceful.  She embodies the characteristics of genuine public service and leadership.

Nominations will open January 1, 2022
